… of performing on stage like The King of Pop, Michael Jackson?
There has been so many Michael Jackson Impersonators a.k.a Moondancers in Vietnam since The King passed away. Many of them were trained by none but themselves by watching Michael Jackson’s videos by one way or another.
“Dancing the dream” is a Moondancing Contest hosted by MJFCVN in order to find the best Moondancer. This is the first step to promote Moondancing among Michael Jackson’s fans community in Vietnam.
Actually, I intended to hold this contest on my birthday party. It would have been a small contest and I wanted to see how people react to this kind of event so that a bigger contest could be held if it received enough positive reactions. However, the reaction was already very good. MJFCVN’s members were really excited. So why not? A big and official moondancing contest! And the best performances would be chosen to perform during the memorial of Michael Jackson at the end of this June!
I was curious and a bit nervous because they were so young and without performing experience. Would they be able to get audience excited? This was important. Because had “Dancing the dream” been a contest withour excitement, who would dare to hold such kind of event in the future? However, I was really amazed to see the passion that a new fan generation of The King of Pop put into their performances.
Michael Jackson’s fans all over the world, please take time to watch these performances thoroughly. We, Vietnamese fans, proudly present “Dancing the dream”. There are 14 performances in total with 2 versions: close-up and full scene. You can watch all of them by clicking the link above. In this article, I only posted some of which I think most impressive.
Well, lady first to start with, these are 2 Moondancer girls I mentioned.
This is Hong Nhung who came a long way from her hometown. Look at how she combined various dancing routines from different songs. I can see “Dangerous”, “Smooth Criminal”, “Remember the time” and of course “You rock my world” routines.
