The Michael Jackson Chart Watch

Ok so we can now count down to when IWYB will be Michael’s 3rd billion streamed track! It should be by the end of the year.

Michael is eligible for over 5 million units in the UK, if his catalog was certified up to date there he'll pass the Beatles (294m)

I'm not expecting Michael to get more than one album in the list, tbh. They're putting lots of newer stuff in there, lots of indie stuff.
I agree now actually. The way it looks, they're picking every artists "best" album and ranking it.

In which case, Thriller has definitely gotta be Number 1. They put Revolver at like 21. And What's Goin' On at 17.

Something interesting just happened, though. Radiohead are the first band / artist to get more than one album in. Kid A is at 33 and OK Computer at 12. The way this thing was going from the start I really didn't expect that.

It's getting really interesting. There's the Thriller quote from Nile. Would they put that out if Michael wasn't in the Top 10?

Thriller, Off The Wall, and Bad at 1, 2, and 3? 🤣

If Thriller isn’t at least top 5 I’m going to riot
I predict, Thriller, Miseducation, To Pimp a Butterfly, Purple Rain, Abbey Road, Back to Black being some of the remaining albums. I think Miseducation will probably get number one, MJ won't get it since the media hates him.

Apple revealed 8 of the top 10, leaving only the top 2 left
Abbey Road - The Beatles
Lemonade - Beyonce
Good Kid Maad City - Kendrick Lamar
Song in the Key of Life - Stevie Wonder
Purple Rain - Prince
Nevermind - Nirvana
Miseducation of Lauryn Hill - Lauryn Hill
Blonde - Frank Ocean
Thriller or To Pimp a Butterfly is winning

No they have not, any "lists" revealed is fabricated.

They didn’t release titles, just hints at what they could be. Thriller has to get number 1, if it doesn’t then they don’t even know what music is.

This is what the list of best selling 20th century artists would look like if Michael and Madonna were both certified up to date in the US
  1. Michael Jackson (350,000,000 units)
  2. The Beatles (294,000,000 units)
  3. Madonna (237,000,000 units)
  4. Elvis Presley (234,000,000 units)
  5. Elton John (214,000,000 units)
Beatles are completely up to date outside of digital singles, even if certified they still have no shot of catching him. Madonna will pass Elvis Presley the moment she's certified again in the US

Thriller not #1 is BS, we called it. The media will never put him #1 on anything
