It's no surprise Michael's videos aren't anywhere near the top spots. After all, I can't even watch any of his videos due to some country restriction/block.

What am I not understanding about this chart?

When you just search youtube for Michael Jackson Thriller, you get 78 million views of the Vevo official version posted 10 months ago. I imagine immediately after his death the Thriller views were humongous, and that would have been posted now about 14 months ago.

And while it's not that big a thing, I'm confused why he isn't showing up on the chart.

ETA: And how in the world is Beyonce's Single Ladies not in the top 50, when it has 91million views and other artists have less?

I have the same problem. Most videos are just live performances or music videos that have only been uploaded recently.

Cant blame youtube. The charts are based according to the choice of new generations. It's their new MTV.
