Mainly doing this for newer members to MJJC. But it is for everyone to share memories if they so wish to,
So, people ,...what was or were your very first picture/s you saw of m which meant something to you , or that you could connect with ?

My first memory of Michael is from the Thriller videoclip! I remember being scared of his monster transformation as a young kid :LOL: But the thing that I remember the most is his yellow eyes at the end... I was TERRIFIED! But my parents and I really enjoyed this song a lot :)

I cant remember the exact first time I saw Michael, but it would have been around 1983 or 1984. Back then in Ireland we didnt have MTV, but music videos were shown as part of children's TV programs on the analogue Irish national TV stations and on the cable UK national tv stations. The times were after school in the 4pm to 6pm time slot, and Saturday and Sunday mornings. So it would have been either Billie Jean, Beat It or Thriller which I would have seen first.

Satellite tv became available in Ireland in 1987, and thats when we got MTV Europe in Ireland.
 
The first time I saw Michael was in the spring of 2023. I never heard of him before then, my friend went to Vegas for spring break and him and his family saw an impersonator. Had no clue who he was and just looked him up, I believe this is the first picture of him I saw. I learned he was an artist and watched his Bad video, recognized the song from the Megamind movie and ya...kinda grew from that.

As weird as it is now that I think of it, I think it was this (and then the pictures in the cover booklet).
