I think “Running Scared“ by Roy Orbison is fantastic, the build up, the anticipation to the finale …. And then the relief. Goosebumps!
I also am awe struck by “Thunder Road“ by Bruce Springsteen. The entire song I see the images of what he describes in my mind, it is like a mini movie with an epic ending.
Last but not least “If You Could Read My Mind” by Gordon Lightfoot, love the imagery and some lines are really great “heroes often fail” , the feeling’s gone and I just can’t get it back” how often does a guy sing such vulnerable lyrics? He also sounds so wise, someone you just start listening to when he opens his mouth.

Maybe of interest for @zinniabooklover , @Agonum ? Hopefully more people though!
