OK, so here's the deal. My world culture exam is based on this sort of paper that I am supposed to hand in ASAP. But first I need to write the outline, that is, a short essay on what I am going to write about. So I was thinking of writing about MJ's influence on American culture, or culture in general. Though my teacher prefers not such general topics, so I'd rather choose the influence on USA culture. Since I am not an American, I was hoping someone might help me. Other nations welcome as well of course :D :D :D

Hope you guys can give me some good ideas that would prove how important Michael is for the American culture - music, fashion, videos, style, attitude, language, breaking boundaries etc.

This BBC documentary aired a few weeks ago and its brilliant. It talks about Michael's influence on music culture and black culture. Definitely give this a go, its a great documentary. Plus its BBC so its a reputable source to cite:
