Just started this thread to appreciate this absolutely beautiful amazing song..
It is so Michael. He sung this as a young teenager.. yet he tried to live in this way his whole life.. A way true to himself. True to his soul. This song is truly from our Michael's soul.

The lyrics, calming music, and his voice especially work together just perfectly. Michael's vocal range is just absolutely incredible here. I can't get over how lovely this song is...

Do others share my love for this masterpiece?

I listened to it non-stop as a teenager and it gave me strength during difficult times. It´s an amazing song and the passion and emotion that Michael puts in it while singing it is even more amazing.
 
It's one of my favorite. He did have the heart of a child and God bless him for living that song to the best of his ability. I wish we would all do that.

The early 1960s version by Little Stevie Wonder is nice as well.
 
It's a beautiful song, but one that's now hard to listen to.

Unfortunately, this philosophy doesn't apply to our world. "Nothing's gonna get me down"? Yeah, nothing except all the stupidity in the world.
In hindsight, the song is so eerily ironic...like his first song - Big Boy.
 
Oh I love this song and I faintly remember hearing it a few times when I was younger and loving it. It's such a beautiful song and I always get tears in my ears when I listen to it. :cry:
 
Young MJ's voice is impeccable in this song!
To display the raw emotion the way he does......
and the vocal control is nothing short of amazing!
I remember the first time I heard this song (it's been like forever ago)
it blew me away. Then, when you factor in his age at the time.......
The more I listened to it, the better it got. The better he got!
Lol! Like I missed something the first 49 times I listened to it.
I love it when I discover "things" in MJ's music.
I tellya, if this song doesnt make the ends of your arm hairs
stand up then something's wrong with ya.

Truly one of his best. :)

I love this song so much! It's so beautiful and simple. The song speaks for itself. I close my eyes and smile everytime I listen to it.
 
ahhh...yes I remember this song....Michael vocals are on point as always.....his voice is so pure...beautiful song..
