Does anyone know what the choir at the start are singing? Are they actual words? What language? :s

Ok I found my answer... very interesting.

The full seven-minute version of the song as it appears on the Dangerous album begins with a sampling of Beethoven's 9th Symphony - "Ode To Joy" - a song which speaks of the creator and his subjects on earth:

"Ihr stürzt nieder, Millionen?
Ahnest du den Schöpfer, Welt?
Such ihn überm Sternenzelt!
Über Sternen muß er wohnen."

("Do you come crashing down, you millions?
Do you sense the Creators presence, world?
Seek Him above the starry firmament,
For above the stars he surely dwells.")

This is really interesting, I knew it was Beethoven, I didn't know what the language was or whatt was being said....

This is my favourtie song of all, and it's very close to my heart and soul. Now I understand it a little more.

Thank You

You're welcome :). I've been listening to it a lot lately. It's simply... a masterpiece. Michael is absolutely brilliant. Although something tells me I don't need to convince you. ;)
