Why Has he not been arrested????

Im sorry i dont really understand police procedures etc, and i just dont understand why conrad murray has not been locked up yet???

Am i wrong in thinking that he has admitted to giving michael the drugs that killed him??? There is so much goin around i am sooooooo confused and just wondered if someone could explaine why murray is still walking around like nothing has happened????

I personally think it is taking so long because I think they may be looking at a murder charge now. Innocent until proven guilty means that the prosecution has to prove without a doubt that he had intent and that he murdered Michael. If they move too quickly and don't have enough evidence then they could lose, or they may have to charge him with a lesser charge if they can't prove murder.
 
Well although I want to see Murray in jail I also want LAPD to take all the time they need. I don't want them to do any mistakes that might later hurt the case in court. I want them to go through every detail and nail every single person. Murray has to pay. I want them to build strong case.

I think if they arrest him they have to press charges in 24 hours (or is it 48 hours) and the last I heard they haven't given the case to DA. Let it take time, because the outcome has to be fair (meaning: Murray in jail with the rest of those who helped him). I don't want them to rush and screw it up.

They already made mistakes by not sealing Michael's house as a crime scene, remember Michael died on thursday and they went back on monday. Murray can claim in court that whoever could have planted those drugs there. We need them to build a good case. They can't screw it up.
 
My hunch is they haven't arrested hm yet because they've after the organ-grinder and not just the monkey.

Leaving the suspect loose then increasing the pressure through leaks increases the chances the suspect panics then leads them to who else may be involved. Murray on that video made it abundantly clear his calls were being bugged and emails monitored hence why he wasn't speaking to people during the investigation.

I don't think they're leaving Murray running loose to allow him to incriminate himself FURTHER....it's to see who else he incriminates too.

Or maybe I just watched too many Columbo episodes as a kid....

The coroner's statement released last week spoke to the cause of death, but it seems that there are sensitive details in the autopsy/tox report that related to the criminal investigation - time of death may be key, along with the precise levels of propofol in MJ's system.
 
u build a case and then arrest. from what ive red if they arrest him they then have to start handing discovery over to the defence. whether this happens straight away i dunno. arrest him now and het gets aways cause u dont have an air tight case or wait abit? i know what id want. that fox article the other week that was right in talking about klien geting investigated and the pharmacy getting raided said arrests in 2 weeks. thats this week.
 
I'm going along the lines as everyone else. I think they are building their case and making sure they cross every "T" and dot every "I", In other words hopefully they aint gonna leave any stone unturned.

The Feds are now involved. So are the DEA and BNE and its been handed over to The D. A's office if I read correctly( correct me if i'm wrong).

I also believe its plausible they are indeed watching and waiting for Murray to lead them to the others that are involved.

There's a reason for withholding the complete autopsy results. It indicates, there could be a bombshell.
 
him being arrested will just be the start it will be 03-05 all over again.
 
Because they can't prove anything besides homocide, and if they can't prove it was something besides accidental, he won't even go to jail probably, just lose his license.

I think that's part of the reason no arrest has been made yet. They are gathering as much evidence as possible to present the best case possible for a conviction. Seems likely to me that if they can prove Murray was not just negligent, but also reckless, then he could get jail time rather than just lose his license. And since he seems to have gone about trying to cover up what really happened, there's a consciousness of guilt involved, and that has to be a factor too, one would think.
 
its not just homicide its perverting the course of justice. forgotten what its called in the us.

i totally agree with you there,but with all the leaks on from the media ,the people involved could leave,can,t they put bail or something and take his passport,

yep. I agree.........they have been very cautious to only leak or give out info that discusses the 'basics' of the case, and MJ's death. Murray's lawyer keeps asking for the whole autopsy, they won't release it, fans get mad. I don't though, because as soon as they say exactly what they will charge him with/what the drug levels were/other pertinent info about that morning then the defense gets to build their case. By NOT releasing the info, and continuing to question everyone, they are being smart, IMO....they will catch many in the nets of lies because people's answers are not fitted to the 'FULL' list of facts that LAPS has. Once LAPD releases all that, they have no hedge, and those under suspicion have the 'upper hand' in many ways.

I know I am ready for him to be arrested ASAP, but the other part of me wants the DA to build up a strong enough case against him and all the other doctors/handlers. Because the lawyers here in America will come up with all kinds of ways to put the blame on Michael..

I am so ready for him to go to trial so me and a few of friends can fly out there and stand in front of the courthouse and let Murray and all the others know that when he/they killed MJ they killed a piece of his fans as well
