i don't think there is one. otherwise every person on earth would be affected. there are people who are thriving right now. if you were in a country where the poor are always the bulk of the population, you would think that the recession is always here, as long as the earth's existence.

I blame ppl who do not have morals and values, ppl who go for money, fame and/or power only cuz of hunger for it and not cuz of responsibility.
Then again I don't feel any anger about them... it's more I do feel sorry, they'll never find happiness.

Bad policy making in the US congress since the 70s. Refer to the Community Reinvestment Act of 1977 and the repeal of the Glass-Steagall act in 1999 for example. Just basically Washington forcing banks to make bad loans, meet certain credit quotas.
