Hi, they were recorded on the 11th of May 1997. The vocal takes were produced from 1:23pm to 4:27pm. Hope this helps.

Love Never Felt So Good - 1983
Chicago - March 1999
Loving You - 1985 (estimated)
A Place With No Name - 26 August/8 September/16 October 1998
Slave to the Rhythm - summer 1989
Do You Know Where Your Children Are - unknown
Blue Gangsta - 1998
Xscape - 1999

So can anyone answer these:

1. Why is Love Never Felt So Good dated officially as 1983 when the copyright clearly says "1980" and Anka clearly says "Before Thriller"?

2. Why Reid dates STTR as 1991, and where does "summer 1989" come from?

So half of the songs are newer. That is excellent.

1. More than likely a false date of creation. They interviewed Paul Anka for XSCAPE and, if the song truly was recorded before Thriller, he would have corrected them.

2. Reid dates Slave to the Rhythm as 1989; the XSCAPE booklet is a typo.

In the book Anka specifically described how he worked with Michael, and then Thriller came out, MJ was pushed intro stratosphere and stopped communicating with him. Did he make it up? I don't think so.

In the Xscape documentary Reid mentioned 1991.
