What should I use to make GIFs?

Either a program or website, I don't mind...

I used to use GIFninja, but the GIFs come out too small.

So basically I just want something free that can convert a small video clip into an animated GIF, and leave no watermarks or anything like that.

The best program to make gifs is Photoshop hands down. You can do so much with them versus any other program.
