Streets Of Rage
Sonic And Knuckles (Lava Reef Zone Act 1)
Donkey Kong Country (Bonus Room Blitz)
Super Mario RPG (Geno's Forest)

In a completely different style, and excluding some games that used songs of bands I like (and that I actually never played...) and excluding Moonwalker.

For the actual music
  • Minecraft
  • Stardew Valley
  • Probably Hogwarts Legacy (but then one might as well listen to John Williams' and others' Harry Potter soundtracks)
In the same vein as the first two, thought I don't remember them as clearly, music from the "To The Moon" game series by Kan R. Gao,

Then rather for the atmosphere they created than for composition
  • EVE Online
  • Satisfactory
Again, vague memory and not sure in which category: Dordogne (yes, that's the name of a game).

Mine: Toejam and Earle, Sonic 3 and Knuckles, Pilotwings64, Streets Of Rage 2.

Reminds me of someone who has approximately the same tastes...

I grew up on the NES, so I love most of the classic themes - Super Mario Bros., The Legend of Zelda, Tetris, Mega Man, Metroid, Double Dragon...there's just so many compositions which have continued to endure for decades. Even now, most of the Mario and Zelda entries contain some arrangement of the original music, because its become just as iconic as the games themselves. The fans not only recognize it and love it, but they've come to expect it.

for the fans of Super Mario and Zelda
Nintendo just announced Nintendo Music, a new initiative and app for smart devices. This is available starting today for Nintendo Switch Online members.

Nintendo Music provides various tracks from Nintendo franchises (like Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Splatoon 3, just to name a couple), plus curated playlists based on characters, in-game moments, and moods. Fans can listen to nostalgic classics, recent releases, and more. Support is also included for some songs to be extended (to 15, 30 or 60 minutes) or looped. Additional music will be made available in the future.
