What is Liberal Arts Mathematics?

what specifically is Liberal Arts Math? I am starting school in May & this is one class I'm pretty sure I would need to take ; It Algebra? Statestics? In which case, I'm gonna have to post here if I have any trouble because I never learned Stats in high school.

Explain to me what specifically it is please. thank you. & I hope that ppl can help me out here too (??)

I've never heard of Liberal Arts Mathematics.

Usually, if I am not mistaken (though when I went to a Liberal Arts college I never had to take a "Liberal Arts Mathematics" class...I had to take Algebra), a Liberal Arts Math class would involve a variety of topics in mathematics, rather than one specific thing (like Algebra). It would be a course for non-math majors. Kind of guessing here, but those are my thoughts.
