What happened to duets in the 2000s?

Whatever Happens is a decent song but I wouldn't call the vocal take inspiring in comparison to his former work and his voice sounded harsh, also he couldn't pronounce the 'W' anymore because of the surgery. [...]
No offence but I'm really confused. Loads of people hate Invincible, some people really hate the WH vocals. Me? I love the whole album but, y'know, it's fine, different strokes etc.

But ... the 'W' thing?

"He's working day and night ..."
"He doesn't realise it's not the end of the world ..."

I'm definitely hearing him sing the letter 'W'. Unless there's studio trickery going on and I completely fell for it.

I'm really, really confused.

Jackson sings in third person in "Whatever Happens". The song's lyrics, described by Rolling Stone magazine as having a "jagged intensity", narrate the story of two people involved in an unnamed threatening situation.[1]

The crap you read on here...smh

After a while people embarrass themself enough that you don't have to say anything more.
What's that supposed to mean? I just reacted to someone's post. Everyone with ears hears MJ's voice was damaged after the History album and that Invincible vocally sounds like crap in comparison to his former work. Sometimes I feel you are more of a stan than a fan JT..

Don't vhaaalk avaaay
See, I just can't vhind the wiight thing to say

No disrespect to MJ, I know the reasons for it but it's just factss

It's not though. I can't hear any of these 'V' sounds. Not a single one. I can't hear any weird pronunciations of the letter 'W'. Don't Walk Away sounds just fine to me.

🤷🏽‍♀️

[...] Why no duets for Invincible? [...]
I don't have any suggestions about this but - and this is completely off-topic! - just lately I've been wondering what it would sound like if Michael and Lisa Marie had recorded something together. Not saying it's something I would have wanted ... but the idea is intriguing to me ... just idle thoughts drifting through my mind, lol. :D

Well then just accept that and move on then. You can peruse but just straight up posting strange theories every chance you can just gets irritating.

Sometimes I feel you are more of a stan than a fan JT..
I ain't listening to people Casually. I gotta be invested.

What does that have to do with surgeries?
