When I was young, my parents were the same. I could only get the albums for birthdays or at Christmas. It was only when I started earning my own money with my first job that I could start buying the albums and other merchandise.my parents wont let me buy any of his albums so I don't have any of them!!!!!
Does it matter??? It was fun and cool. 2001 was the first time there was an online fan community for a major album release. By the time the album was in shops in October, the fan community had been following each step of the journey for over a year, from insiders like Stewart Brawley posting on KOP, to the concert build up and so much more.I can imagine this being something the record label came up with to get more easy sales from the fans.
The fans and collectors, I suppose. But it's not unheard of for record labels to do stuff like this, though. The Police did it, so did Genesis and Led Zeppelin.I can imagine this being something the record label came up with to get more easy sales from the fans.
