This is to ask what type of camera is best. Like what specs are best to get a good picture at the O2. Plus any other question relating to cameras at the O2.

What digital zoom does is enlarge a portion of the image, thus simulating optical zoom

I recommend getting a camera with a high Optical zoom rate.

I've seen a Sony Cybershot that has 10x Optical Zoom and 20x Digital Zoom (CyberShot DSC H20 or DSC H10
 
Just want to put out there that the O2 doesn't allow cameras so maybe something inexpensive that you won't mind loosing.

Really? Because on the internet people say the do anyway. Plus I'm quite high up, will they still check??
 
Sonly alpha series are just amazing! I own one and had not even single reason to complain.

I have a handheld 1080p 30fps SDHC camera which will be perfect for this.
 
Professional cameras?? Does that include high end compact cameras like the Panasonic Lumix TZ4??? Is that camera okay for concerts?
