Michael loves them because they are so innocent that they will never do any harmful thing. You will feel safe and have a feel of purity when you are around with them and i believe that's what Michael needs most. There are just too many crafty and sneaky people around Michael. Which is exactly the reason why Michael begins to lose trust in others and prefer to stay around children, where he doesn't have to worry about getting betrayed or back stabbed.
How i wish all these were untrue. Michael really doesn't deserve all these.
