Quick question for you...
Does anyone know why there are two different versions of We are the World and why the lyrics changed? On The Ultimate Private Collection - Michael sings it solo and the lyrics are different from what was released into the charts with all the other singers. Does anyone know why and which was made first?
 
We Are the World in the ultimate collection was only a demo version. some of the songs on there are demos. they weren't releases until this collection came out.

the one with all the singers is the one that was released and we all know of.

Thanks. I was just wondering why the lyrics changed because I actually prefer the lyrics on the ultimate collection demo version.
 
yea..the solo one is nice.but since it was a demo, words can change.
but you know..at first i thought i liked the solo better when i heard it, but i think they are even with me now.. (except you dont have that annoying Cindy Lauper part in it. eeek
