23rd April enthusiasm in Kids Guinness Book of World Records / We are the world

Some 2,300 children set a record by singing the song “We are the world” as part of festivities

The enthusiasm of the 23rd April Children’s Festival entered the Kids World Records as some 2,300 children from around 29 countries set a new record by singing Michael Jackson's song called “We are the world” during celebrations.

Giving messages to the world, children were accompanied by Turkish singer Sertab Erener.

Marking its 32nd edition this year, the TRT International Children’s Festival takes place in the western province of İzmir/Turkiye. As part of celebrations, children gathered in Gündoğdu Square and festivities were aired live.


i just want to share this event with you. Michael's thousands of kids were in Turkiye last week and give the best message to the world by singing "We are the world" together and play with the true innocense.
i'm sure that Michael watched this event and laughed happily, i do feel his feelings and smile when he saw those lovely children

I couldn't have enough time to find a video from this concert but the main gala show started with "We are the world", too. Many children from different countries were on the stage with the flags at the begining of the gala. you may watch it here :

i hope the link will work for all of you. it was a long show, this is the part 1 of 2. After this begining, there are a few speech and then a very beautiful event starts. kids of the every country come to the stage and make their show in orderly, they are so cute and lovely children, celebrate their day no matter what their country or race or colour or religion is. Only peace and innocence :)
