July 6, 1984 - December 9, 1984.
In 1984, The Jacksons toured across the U.S.A and Canada for 5 months with the Victory Tour. The tour began in Kansas city, Arrowhead Stadium, July 6, 1984 and ended December 9, 1984 in Dodger Stadium, Los Angeles. During the 55 concerts that were performed, over 2 million people attended. A record $75 million was grossed. Michael donated $5 million to charities, all proceeds he collected from the tour. Thanks to Michael, Pepsi-Cola over-took thier arch rivals Coca Cola for the first time. It was at the last show of the tour that Michael annouced his split from The Jacksons. This was the last tour that Michael participated in with "The Jacksons", however Michael went on to tour several more times as a solo artist.

July 6th :D thats my Birthday, i've just got into Victory Tour :punk: i love all the outfits and stuff dureing that tour MJ looked amazing in that Tour

amazing tour! should never have happened but still amazing

Why u say that? The only thing i didn't like about the tour was the set list. They should have went ahead and just put thriller on their along with some songs from the victory album

I like Triumph and Destiny much better, but the Victory Tour definitely had it's highlights too. I love the performances of "Heartbreak Hotel", "Human Nature", "Tell Me I'M Not Dreaming" and "Billie Jean" from this tour.

The Victory Tour looks dull, in that Michael doesn't appear to be really in to his performances and he's just waiting for the tour to end (which I think was the case).

I love the clothes Michael wore on the Victory Tour, and the stage design/lighting etc. And I think Michael's performance and electronic music arrangement of Shake Your Body (Down To The Ground) on the final performance in LA is amazing. But I prefer the Destiny and Triumph Tour, and Michael seems really in to those concerts.

I can't say for sure which Jacksons tour between 1979-84 was the best as I never attended them, and never experienced them but the Victory Tour doesn't appear to be better than earlier Jacksons Tour, because it seems like a tour to make Michael's brothers money and give them some of Michael, Thriller era fame and nothing else.

I see what you're saying now,I want to see the second leg of the destiny tour somewhere

MJ is so hot on the Victory tour.
His voice is amazing too, and I LOVE all the glittery jackets he wore in Thriller era..

The Victory tour was a good tour but it also shows that MJ's brothers do hold him back. Like on the performance of Beat It, MJ was doing the dance routines all by himself with no backing dancers

I love victory tour aswell, the only disepoiments was that thriller was not on the set list, but nevertheless good tour

The thing is we don't even have it on DVD so I think it's impossible to judge what they really did.
But for what I've seen, this tour is classic IMO because it's the first time MJ is on stage after Thriller.

I love his outfit most of the tour and the opening was so cool. That's also the year I found out on info that they performed in Canada. Kansas, Dallas and Los Angeles seemed like a great show of Victory Tour.

Wow, i never saw a victory show yet. never downloaded one ! What do you think is the best performace in this tour ?
