Here's the UK MIDWEEK CHARTS (monday-wednesday sales):

1 Sam Smith - In The Lonely Hour (66.8k) *
2 Coldplay - Ghost Stories (43.8k)
3 Michael Jackson - Xscape (10k - 15 copies ahead of Paloma Faith)
4 Paloma Faith - A Perfect Contradiction (10k - 46 copies ahead of Paolo Nutini)
5 Paolo Nutini - Caustic Love (9.9k)

It's so close!!!

UK FANS: if you intend to buy it soon, please do it before the weekend... it's probably the last chance to make the Top 3 again.

Horakhty - thank you for your useful posts!!! Come on UK!

BTW - Glad to see Sam Smith doing so well. That guy has such an amazing gift

I'd be happy to buy again this week if the vinyl was available. They pushed it back until June 9th.

The problem is the promotion over here has been too weak. I've only seen the Xperia advert, and most of the time the voice over artist talks over the song. We need either more adverts for the album itself or another single because LNFSG wasn't good enough.

bought my second copy a couple of days back to keep it sealed.. it's evident that the UK still have extreme love for Michael! clear to all that with the right promotion, Michael's music can stay in the top 5

Guys, the numbers:

3 Paolo Nutini - Caustic Love 12.4k
4 Paloma Faith - A Perfect Contradiction 12.3k
5 Michael Jackson - Xscape 12.2k

The difference between #3 and #5 is less than 200 copies! :( MJ still has a chance.
