It still surprises me how much todays kids dance and sing MJ. This is the first time I have ever witnessed something like this. It seems bigger that his popularity in the Thriller era. There's a show in Holland for kids (I have kids of my own so that's why I see these things;) and if they're not singing a song by MJ they will move like him (do the moonwalk) on any random song they choose. So that's really great.

There's also a dutch artist called trijntje oosterhuis who recorded a tribute album:

And third: there was a show on dutch television which showed people from all over the world performing MJ. a have the show taped. Maybe I'll upload it.

I know what you mean!
I am a music teachter in Rotterdam en all the kids love him!
They wanna hear his music, dance like him, sing his songs.
The girls are in love with him, boys wanna be like him.
It's so great!!!
I know he watches this all and smiles! :)
 
Faith Hill just did an interview and she was asked what her most recent favorite memory was with her 3 girls. She answered that her girls are al obsessed with MJ and that they dress like him and then record themselves oerforming his music. She said she loves watching them discover the genius of Michael Jackson.
