Tribute on French TV show last night

The show is called "Les enfants de la télé", last night was their first show after the summer break.

They put up a tribute video, I thought it was beautiful so I put it here for you to see.

After the video was shown, the audience did a standing ovation.

Then the show went on, but they played Michael's music before every commercial break.

Yes, French fans were saying the same thing.
It IS so wrong.

I don't know what the authors meant, but the last image (intro of Dangerous tour), he sort of "comes back" from the stars or space. It looks like they are saying " he's a legend, he will be here forever".
