So I’ve been thinking on this for a little while, and the other day I saw some discussion about ‘Invincible’ on the new album thread that made me wonder about everyone’s opinions… When I listen to an album, I’m the sort of person who likes to listen to the whole thing from start to finish, in exactly the order the artist intended it. It seems to me that the order the tracks are arranged on an album can have a significant influence on the overall “message”, “impact” or “journey” the artist wants to convey.
So I’m wondering what people’s thoughts are on the track order of any of Michael’s albums. Without swapping out any of the songs that are included on the album, how would you rearrange the track listing and why? Or what are some of the things that you love about the way Michael arranged his albums? Just any thoughts or ideas on this in general, I guess!
