Stop all the doom & gloom people... Embrace the fact he's gonna get up on stage this year and dance/sing his arse off. Ten times. We've lived off Bucharest and bootleg copies of Wembley 87 and HIStory VHS tapings, so even IF this is his last string of performances, live it up and be thankful you're around to witness it (even if it is just on TV or the Internet).

So anyway, seeing as he made mention that he'll be performing the songs his fans want to see, I figured we'd make a thread just to get the general feel and idea of what MJJC fans would like to see. Personally i'd like to see things we haven't seen before, and by that I dont just mean the entire track list of Invincible, but songs that would be perfect for a live audience.

For the sake of future audiences I hope we dont have a voting system where Billie Jean dominates voting (or the whole Thriller track list) because being a Michael Jackson fan, you've seen him perform it a multitude of times in the last 2 and a half decades.

Here's my TOP 5:
1. Dirty Diana
2. Give In To Me
3. Remember The Time
4. Anything off Invincible
5. Human Nature OR Liberian Girl

2. Remember The Time. Still can't believe he hasn't done one since Soul Train.
3. Beat It.
4. Come Together. I know he did this for History but I'd prefer something like on Moonwalker.
5. Man In The Mirror. Just so up lifting.

But I really can't wait for some performances from Invincible as well. And "For All Time" would be great...if done live.

Okay... let me think about this

Earth Song is special to me because it was my first record (single) and listening to it at age 4/5 locked away in my room repeating it over and over is one of my first memories, and my very first MUSICAL memory. To see it live I would cry. :(

there would be the other songs of course (i.e. thriller, Beat It, something like that)... but these are the 5 I would like to see.. and it was hard choosing. I know I could of done better though. o_o

3. You Rock My World! (Imagine the breakdown of the song with choreography!)

5. Lady In My Life (A slow song, that would be great, imagine him singing his heart out in the spotlight "I WANNA TOUCH YOU BAAAABE. DA-DUH-DOO-DAH, DOODADOOO..")

Another option... "Is It Scary".. I also LOVE that song, it's powerful, and the performance of it can be full of energy. :eek: Could be like before Thriller or something to go with the theme LOL. Just thinking..

Well it's hard to choose just 5 but I probably want either new songs or 'newer' ones from Invincible or the unreleased ones that we never got to hear or see before. Yeah the classics are great and they should be included if he's doing a career span thing but really, they've been done so many times now... It's not fair for the public to only think of those few songs or just one album when he has so many more incredible songs that haven't gottne the appreciation they deserve. JMHO.

I was like, thinking of the 3rd one, "No...got only 2 left!"

I picked the songs, but truth is, I'm just happy I can see him performing again. Whatever he will do on stage and whatever songs he will perform, I'd be in heaven!
