7. In 1923, jockey Frank Hayes suffered a heart-attack during a race. His horse, Sweet Kiss, finished first. Hayes thus became the first dead jockey to ever win a race.
11. A man drowned in a swimming-pool – nothing unusual so far. However, it is at least idiotic to drown in a pool at a party attended by at least 200 life guards. It happened in 1985, at the party organized by the life guards in, to celebrate a season without a single death. When the party was over, 31-year old Jerome Moody’s lifeless body was found. Nobody had noticed until then that the man had been floating dead.
13. In 1991, Yooket Paen died while taking a walk on his farm. He slipped and fell in a hole in ground, grabbed an electrical wire while falling and died electrocuted. At the funeral, his sister wanted to show the others how her brother had fallen; she slipped and accidentally touched the same wire. She also died electrocuted.
14. A man in Illinois made a bet with his friend: that he would be the one to lie longest on a railroad while a train was getting near. He won.
