I'd say "Schindler's List" but I don't view it as really being a war movie.

I'm not a big fan of war movies but I quite liked two German movies: Das Boot and Die Untergang (Downfall).

You need to watch a anime film called Grave Of The Fireflies.......it's probably one of the most depressing films one could watch, but it is also brilliant!!!!

Downfall is amazing, Only ever seen about 15 minutes of Das Boot is it worth seeing the rest of it
