September 25th, 1983:
Michael's 'Billie Jean' performance from the Motown 25 TV special is shown on the Emmy Awards presentation broadcast, where it has received a nomination for Best Individual Performance On A Variety Or Music Programme. Although Michael loses the Emmy to Leontyne Price for Live From Lincoln Centre, the TV special itself does win an Emmy.

Quote of the Day:
"We have to heal our wounded world. The chaos, despair, and senseless destruction we see today are a result of the alienation that people feel from each other and their environment."

Have a good day. :)

Thank you Tom :flowers:
and I love the inspiring Michael quote today
Quote of the Day:
"We have to heal our wounded world. The chaos, despair, and senseless destruction we see today are a result of the alienation that people feel from each other and their environment."

Reminds me of MJ's Shout lyrics that speak to this problem. One verse being
"We're disconnected from love, we're disrespecting each other. Whatever happened to protecting each other"

Ahhhh! Shout! Another great one that got lost in the shuffle.
