October 28th, 1999:
It was reported that a thief had stolen home movies of Michael Jackson playing with his children. The thief demanded $100,000 ransom for the return of the videos and had contacted tabloid papers about selling the video tapes.

I wonder if those are the same tapes shown on TV all across the world shortly after MJ passed....I hope a thief didn't profit big time from MJ's death. After he died those tapes would have been worth WAY MORE than 100,000!
