May 3:
1979 - The Jackson's perform a Destiny Tour Concert in St Petersburg, Fla USA
1980 - 'She's Out Of My Life' enters the US Black singles chart peaking at number 43 and remains on the charts for eight weeks. 'She's Out Of My Life'/'Push Me Away' UK single enters the Top 75 singles chart in Britain peaking at number 3 and remains on the charts for nine weeks.
1989 - 'Michael Jackson: The Legend Continues' is released on video cassette in America.
1997 - Michael Jackson's single "Blood On The Dance Floor" hit #1 in the U.K.
1997 - Michael Jackson visited, his tour promoter, Marcel Avram in Munich's Stadelheim prison. Avram was being held on suspicion of tax evasion.
