Ebony magazine lists Michael’s total US sales for all of his LPs and singles at 62 million units, two million more than Garth Brooks record-breaking 60 million. Michael has sold 51 million LPs in the US and 11 million singles, which places him at the top of the list. The information comes from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) which issues gold and platinum records. ‘They Don’t Care’ débuted this week on the Pop Singles Chart at Number 30 and on the R&B Charts at Number 11. After nine weeks, ‘They Don’t Care’ falls out of the UK Top 40 Singles Chart this week after turning Silver last week. ‘History’ rose nine places to No. 28 last week, following the Music Awards Show in Monte Carlo.

The judge spends most of the morning with attorneys from both sides, hammering out the advice to be given to the jurors in anticipation of the closing statements from both sides, and the handing of the case to the jurors for their deliberations. The discussion is long, complex, and highly technical and neither Michael nor the jurors are present.
