HollywoodTicket.com is an interactive promotional and marketing entertainment web site, which covers movies, television, music, Internet, sports, merchandise and books. Michael will play a major role in securing the participation of important people from show business. Michael and Sony/ATV announce that they have acquired Famous Music LLC to add to their existing music publishing portfolio. Famous Music LLC includes 125,000 songs, from classics to contemporary hits from stars like Shakira and Eminem. Still in London, Michael waves to fans from his hotel window. The sale of Jackson family memorabilia begins at the Hard Rock Resort Hotel in Las Vegas, and bids for thousands of items are expected from every corner of the world. The items were seized as part of a bankruptcy settlement when a Jackson family business failed. The memorabilia has been insured for £100 million and ten percent of the proceeds are to be shared between five children’s charities in America. Universal Express, who are auctioning the items, have also been encouraging celebrities associated with those charities to act as auctioneers, hoping to increase the bidding.
