HISTORICAL DATES
1988 - Michael Jackson's performs his 2nd BAD Tour show of 3 at Madison Square Garden, New York, to a capacity audience of 57,000 at all three sell-out shows. During one of these shows, Michael hits the headlines for Tatiana Thumbtzen kissing him on stage while performing 'The Way You Make Me Feel'. Ed Koch, New York City Mayor attends one of these shows and tells the New York Post, "he really is the supreme theatrical dancer - like Fred Astaire."
2001 - Michael arrives in London on crutches to Give his "Heal The Kids" lecture on child welfare at Oxford University on March 6th, When asked by reporters about his injury, Michael stated: "It's painful, I've broken two bones in my foot and it hurts!"
2007- Michael Jackson, arrives in Japan on March 4 for his second trip in less than a year to attend functions including an extravagant gala held in his honor March 8 in Tokyo
2009 MJJ Productions, files a lawsuit in Los Angeles Superior Court against Julien's Auction House. It claimed "MJJ Productions authorized the auction house to remove the items from Jackson's Neverland Ranch, but not to sell them without Jackson's permission. The Judge ruled in Julien's favor because Dr. Tohme Tohme who officially represented MJJ Productions at that time, did sign a contract authorizing the sale and Julien's had over 2 Million invested into moving, storing, cleaning and cataloging all the items. There was another hearing scheduled for MJJ Production's to bring in motions before the final judgment, but a day before that hearing they settle the case favorable to both parties. Julien's Auction cancelled the sale, returned the items and recouped their investment by displaying the items to the public and selling the Inventory catalogs. Any other agreements between the parties were undisclosed, because the settlement was sealed. The exhibit took place April 14th – 25th, 2009
2010 - Michael is inducted into the ECHO Awards Hall of fame. The German Music Awards were presented in in Berlin on March 4, 2010. Many stars were present to watch the annual show while millions of TV viewers at home enjoyed the awards ceremony. Michael Jackson was honored as several performers paid tribute, and a children's choir sang "Heal The World‘ while images of Michael were displayed across the screen. As a special tribute to the King of Pop, Michael Jackson was then admitted to the Echo Hall of Fame. Michael was also awarded with an ECHO award for "Best International Artist of the Year" in 1993.
