QUOTE OF THE DAY

" I was devastated by the news that Michael Jackson had suddenly left the room.
This blessed artist commanded the stage with the grace of an antelope, shattered
recording industry records and broke down cultural boundaries around the world,
yet remained the gentlest of souls."

~ Quincy Jones

Ah the good old days when Q admired Michael. That photo with Michael & Elizabeth is perfect. I wonder what they are debating. The way both their hands are up, their eyes are opened in the same way & directed at each other, they mouths are opened in the same way towards each other--perfect shot. I could almost hear him saying, "I love to tour."

I think we all are taken aback by Q's feelings sometimes. But I'm sure he still feels the exact same way as in his quote here. (regardless if he doesn't fully understand MJ's disease and the choices he made ) Really I can feel his heart past his words and by his choice of words I see he is hurt and still angry, hurt and upset over MJ's senseless death. He is still in the anger part of grief and I don't know if he will ever get past that stage. He is old and ignorant about many things, so he may never fully understand. But I don't think his feelings of loving Michael and thinking he was the gentlest of souls has ever changed. If he would be asked the right questions that would be what he would say. I'm sure of it. Iv'e studied his words and watched his face and I see that he is old and ignorant of many facts and set in his ways ... but I also see his heart (That's my gift )
