Governor Edwin Edwards of Louisiana says that he will not repeal the amusement tax for The Jacksons’ appearance at the New Orleans Superdome, as they have requested.
1994
A long-lost song, ‘Big Boy’, that marked Michael’s recording debut is re-released twenty-five years after it was a minor hit for the Jackson 5. Ben Brown, the owner of Steeltown Records, has recently re-mastered the song, and will initially sell it by mail order, in a limited edition package with a CD, cassette tape, and song history, for $30.
