1983 - "Thriller" reaches No.1# in Australia's Kent Music Report Albums Chart.
1983 - Michael Jackson gives a second sitting to sculptor David Goode in Los Angeles for the latest Madame Tussaud’s wax figure.
1984 - The first single from the Victory album, "State Of Shock", a duet between Michael & Mick Jagger, is premiered on radio stations. It’s an instant success even though no video is shot for the song. "Mick Jagger didn't hesitate when Michael Jackson told the Rolling Stones singer to warm up his vocal cords before recording their duet" said Bruce Swedien . "By then, everyone knew how good Michael was," he continued. "If Michael Jackson says warm up, you warm up , even if you are Mick Jagger."
1992 - Michael Jackson performs his Dangerous World Tour at the Hippodrome of Vincennes in Paris.
1997 - Michael Jackson performs his HIStory World Tour at the Nordmark sport field in Kiel, Germany
1999 - Michael Jackson is in rehearsals in Los Angeles for the MJ & Friends concerts to be held in Korea and Munich
2002 - In the late afternoon Michael spends just under an hour at an HMV store in London, but finds it difficult to leave as so many fans gather outside. Unfortunately an elderly lady is knocked over in the chaos. On seeing this, Michael gestures to the fans to calm down, helps the lady to her feet and gives her a lift home
2005 - SANTA MARIA, Calif. — MICHAEL JACKSON NOT GUILTY - A California jury has exonerated Michael Jackson of the child molestation, conspiracy and alcohol charges that could have sent him to prison for nearly 20 years. The jury deliberated about 32 hours throughout the course of seven days before reaching its decision. The clerk of court read the verdicts Monday in a packed courtroom while a large crowd of supporters waited outside. Jackson fans cheered, wept and hugged upon hearing the verdicts.. The courtroom sat silently as Judge Rodney Melville opened jury envelopes and silently read the verdict forms before allowing the court clerk to read the verdict out loud. Lead defense attorney Tom Mesereau Jr., who scored a dazzling legal victory in the case, patted Jackson on the shoulder after the verdict was read. Two jurors dabbed their eyes with tissues. Jackson showed no visible reaction in court. He then slowly, silently walked out of court surrounded by family and his bodyguards, looking slightly stunned. The singer briefly waved to fans before getting in his vehicle and heading back to Neverland Ranch.
