HISTORICAL DATES
1979 – The Jacksons perform their Destiny Tour in Leeds, UK.
1984 - Michael is on the cover of CIAO 2001 Magazine [Italy].
1990 Michael attends a sit-down a breakfast press conference held at the Regent Beverly Wilshire Hotel organised by CBS Records to celebrate Michael as the Top Selling Artist Of 8O’s. He was presented with the "Top Selling Artist Of The Decade" award by CBS Records for selling 110 million records during the 80's. Among those in attendance were Michael's parents, Berry Gordy, Little Richard, Elton John, Gladys Knight, and Siedah Garrett.
1992 Bravo magazine featured Michael on their cover story: "General" Jackson
1996 Michael & the Cascio kids go to Disneyland Paris to spend a few days before flying back to the USA.
1998 Michael travels to Seoul for a week's stay where he will attend the investiture ceremony of President Kim Dae Jung on February 25th.
1998 During the second Annual World Animation Celebrations in California, Matt Groeing known for his creation of 'The Simpsons', confirms that not only did Michael write the song 'Do The Bartman' but also lent his voice to the character Michael Jackson on the episode entitled 'Stark Raving Dad'. Michael was credited at the end of the episode under pseudonym John Jay Smith.
2003 TAKE 2 : The Footage You Were Not Meant To See is aired on FOX TV. Fox aired outtakes from the controversial interview with Martin Bashir titled "Michael Jackson, Take Two: The Interview They Wouldn't Show You." The outtakes, coming from Michael's private camera man, showing closely how things really were and how much Martin Bashir was praising Michael on his abilities as a father, Neverland etc... opposite to what was shown during his interview.
2006 Visionary: The Video Singles; a series of 20 of hit singles by Michael Jackson is released in Europe between February 20 and June 26, 2006. Then released in North America as a box set on November 14, 2006. The limited edition cover artwork for the box set is a photomosaic using images from Jackson's career. Each disc contains two different audio versions of the title song on one side and its originally released video clip on the other side.
2008 The "Thriller 25" album was released in Japan. It included the unreleased bonus track "Got The Hots"
