1978 "Even Though You're Gone / Different Kind of Lady" single from Goin' Places" album -enters the Top 50 singles chart UK, peaking at number 31 and remains on the charts for 4 weeks.
1979 The Jacksons perform their Destiny World Tour Preston, UK.
1992 Michael Jackson is welcomed by 100,000 people when he arrives Libreville Gabon, Africa. President Omar Bongo presents him with 'National Honor Of Merit Award' on behalf of the country of Gabon, West-Central Africa, at the Ambassador's Hall in the Presidential Palace.
2008 Michael Jackson's "Thriller 25th Anniversary Edition" CD was released Internationally on Feb 11, 2008. It was released in Australia Feb 8th and in the USA Feb 12th. Thriller 25 was released on CD and vinyl. It included the original Thriller tracks, plus seven bonus tracks. A new ballad called "For All Time", Vincent Price's voice-over and five remixes featuring contemporary artists wil.i.am, Fergie and Akon. It also included a DVD featuring three award-winning music videos, the Emmy-nominated Motown 25 "Billie Jean" performance, and a booklet with a message from Michael.
