The movie Free Willy featuring Will You Be There by Michael Jackson as its main theme song, is released to cinemas in South Korea.

Michael, accompanied by Lisa, visits two children’s hospitals where they distribute over 2,600 toys to the sick kids. In the evening hundreds of fans gather outside his hotel, where he delights them by showering them with various signed gifts. [Video @ the end]

Legendary Patti Labelle & gospel singer Daryl Coley pay tribute to Michael Jackson. Two of the greatest voices ever blowing Michael Jackson's Will You Be There at NAACP 1993. Will You Be There was also interpreted by Jennifer Hudson. Beautiful speech Michael gave, too, about children "to be as free as the wind, to be one with every other child!" (around 5 minute mark)
