1989 - Filming begins in Los Angeles for the video for 'Liberian Girl'. The video includes appearances by over forty friends and celebrities, including Paula Abdul, Debbie Gibson, Dan Aykroyd, Quincy Jones, Steve Guttenburg, Olivia Newton-John, Rosanna Arquette, John Travolta, Steven Spielberg, Whoopi Goldberg and Bubbles. Michael dedicates the video to his close friend, Liz Taylor.

1984 - MJ's single "P.Y.T." hits #11 in the U.K Charts. - P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing)" is the sixth single from Jackson's sixth solo album, Thriller (1982). The original demo version of the song was written by Jackson and Greg Phillinganes. Quincy Jones passed on the song itself but liked the title and, with James Ingram, fashioned a totally new song with that title that was released on Thriller. Michael's original demo of the song was later released on his "Ultimate Collection in 2004. "P.Y.T. has been covered and sampled by numerous artists, including Monica, Justin Guarini and Kanye West. The original demo was also remixed by The Black Eyed Peas singer will.i.am for Thriller 25. 1990 - Michael arrives as one of the first guests at the Taj Mahal Casino as a special guest of millionaire, Donald Trump. Trump said: "There were thousands of people literally crushing us. We had 20 bodyguards, but it was really dangerous. He dropped to his knees and started crawling to the exit. He did it so routinely, I thought he fell. And I said, "Michael, is it always like this?" He goes, "Yeah, this is nothing. Japan is much worse."
