Tito Jackson Accused of Ruining MJ Tribute

Tito Jackson is accused of single handedly torpedoing a Michael Jackson tribute concert last year -- and now the guy behind the show is looking to settle the score.

A concert promoter named Roy Isaac has fired off a letter to Tito -- demanding he return a $7,500 deposit Tito was allegedly paid for a concert in Michigan -- a concert that never happened.

Isaac tells TMZ the whole thing fell apart, in part, because Tito refused to do any press for the show.

Now, Isaac has told Tito that he wants his money back -- in 30 days -- or else he'll sue.

Tito's rep tells TMZ that Tito never got the money and Isaac's beef should be with Jackson's former booking agent.

The Korean newspaper all over again...but thank goodness, MJ's name nor his estate will get dragged in this one.


Off topic: I find a 7500$ deposit for someone like Tito to be pretty low. I mean he is still a Jackson..he must command a lot more money than that.

People get so upset when we say things about the family but I re-read Margaret Maldonado Jackson's book and the stuff she speaks of is happening now and then and over and over again not supported by her words but theirs and court documents. It is hard to ignore when they are the ones doing it to themselves. Her book talk about how Mike and Janet bailed Joe out of so many bad deals that got tired and stopped also MJ said the same thing on the Glenda tapes. The puzzle is no more the pieces have been put together no one wants to look at it. She said when she was putting the movie together the brothers would come to her about their own feelings of Joe outside of what they told the screenwriters(they glossed over it). She said Tito was the most bitter of all He said his dad would beat him with an ironing chord and pour salt in his wounds.

Now I see why he was so hurt about MJ and said and cried how he wished his brother could have felt loved. I feel sorry for all of them because they are holding back. They need therapy.
Tito loved MJ I truly believed it and he probably wanted to do the tribute they just don't know how to. Remeber the Jackson FAmily HOnors Show?

It's all just so sad, when you put it all together. I'm gonna have to look for Margaret's book. Now who's wife was she?

Also, can somebody explain to me what the "Jackson Family Honors Show" was. I remember that final concert Michael did with his brothers, which is at the end of their movie. Was that the Jackson Family Honors.

I have this book. I wanted to reread it a couple of weeks ago but couldn't bring myself to do it. Too much drama. You are right, they are doing it to themselves. And they just don't know how to stop. That's very sad. They are still little kids scared of their father, even after all these years. :(

It was a concert the family organized in 1994. Michael refused to perform. He came onstage only to present Elizabeth Taylor with an award and joined the family for the final song "If you'd only believe"
