Tito Jackson is moving from LA to Wolverhampton and he thinks brother Michael would have done the same
It seems Tito Jackson is done with the constant sun and beautiful people that inhabit Los Angeles and is instead switching it for the unpredictable weather of Wolverhampton.
Yes that’s right the City of Angels is losing one of The Jackson Five to the West Midlands. Tito says he prefers the people and ‘quiet’ atmosphere of Britain compared to his current home: ‘I am moving here very shortly, I am going to live in Wolverhampton. I think Michael might have moved over here and my sister Janet lives in London – it’s quiet.’
We hate to break it to you Tito but Wolverhampton isn’t exactly identical to London, and it’s quite a statement to suggest that Michael Jackson would have chosen the small city as his home. The Thriller singer was 50 when he died in 2009 of a cardiac arrest. Tito went on to say how grateful he was to the British public for ‘always’ supporting his family. He told the Daily Star newspaper: ‘The Brits have always had our back.’
However, if Tito is worried about missing his fellow celebs he’ll be pleased to know he is not the only fan of the city; Led Zeppelin frontman Robert Plant is vice-president of the local football team Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Motown legend and Jackson 5 member Tito Jackson was a special guest at the Molineux for the club’s Championship game against The Robins on Tuesday night.
After arriving at the city’s railway station, the 63-year-old was taken to the stadium in a private car, where he spoke to fans and was given a scarf.
He then went on the pitch before the game and was interviewed about his new album Tito Time.
Speaking on the experience, he said: “I very much enjoyed my first soccer game in Wolverhampton.
He had never been to Wolverhampton, but said he jumped at the chance to watch Wolves during a break in his promotional tour of the UK.
The Jackson Five icon was happy to talk about his new album Tito Time, which is out on sale now.
He said: “The family members suggested I should take on a project – and I thought it would be great to have a project for the fans too.
“So I made this album – and it’s my first one.
“It feels great. It’s a different time, a different day, but it feels great.”
The album features rapper Big Daddy Kane, diva Betty Wright and soul star Jocelyn Brown – as well as his three sons TJ, Taryll and Taj, who form R’n’B group 3T.
He said: “It was quite different working with my sons from 3T on the new album because they got the chance to tell me what to do. They enjoyed it very much. I pretty much just let them have their way. It was a lot of fun working with Jocelyn Brown on the album too.”
Looking back at his formative years, Tito sees his childhood fame in a bright light, saying their time travelling the world was ‘very fun’.
