LONDON (AP) — Two of Michael Jackson's siblings say they tried to intervene to prevent his drug abuse but could not get close to their brother because of his security team.

Tito and Rebbie Jackson said Tuesday the family was aware of Michael's drug problem.

Tito Jackson says his late brother's security team acted as if he was the U.S. president and kept his family away. He says he got into physical fights with security personnel and was sometimes barred from his brother's gated property.

The two Jacksons are in London to promote Wednesday's premiere of a documentary about his life.

Their mother Katherine Jackson canceled her trip to London to attend the final days of the Los Angeles trial of Dr. Conrad Murray, accused of manslaughter in the pop star's death

Too bad there is a lenghty "paper-trail" which shows that the brothers CONTINUED to beg Michael, year after year after year, to join them on stage again.

I guess that those of us who read those old stories are supposed to forget that they existed. LOL!
 
yeah well maybe they should get someone to intervene on their greed. how about that? cuz they obviously need an intervention.

someone like Tito who in the course of 4 and half weeks only bothered to show up once or twice- if at all, has the audacity to sell interviews and bring up interventions when the trial of the person who killed his brother is about to end?! SMDH screw them all.

yet when interviews/quotes like that r given by the greedy jackson's their stans show up and say ''you hate hate hate hate hate'', like they're some innocent angels who are being criticized for the heck of it, -you wish-, actions like these cause the strong dislike and even hatred people have for them smdh, they deserve to be disliked. they are not worthy to be loved or respected.

The only time tito talked about such things was when mj was at the ranch. does he give a time. the family make me sick.
 
Maybe if hed got his ass in court instead of trying to cash in he would know the facts
 
Can someone please explain how talking about your loved one's drug problem is supposed to sell a product you're pushing? Doesn't that do nothing but piss off the fanbase you're trying to reach?

This is the very reason why I also refuse to buy anything they do like the Gest doc. Thank u Tito & Rebbie for making my point. How can they say MJ was on drugs at the same time they say they could never see him because they were kept away? lmao MJ obviously wanted ya'll to stay away, and I don't blame him. So they had to invent shit for his reasons with without proof. Bravo Jackson family!

Lord they make me so sick.. are they talking about Alberto Alvarez and Faheem Muhammed or somebody from 2002-2003? That has nothing to do with Murray killing MJ in 2009
 
If his security team kept them away, then it was under Michael's direction. I wonder why they never discuss the reasons he could possibly have wanted to do such yet others were allowed around him. It is always a problem with Michael -- not them. No words about how they added to the pressure with all the begging for him to tour. No words about what this trial was about--a medical problem being mismanaged by a doctor who was suppose to take care of him. No words about the fact that all these supposed drugs that he was so addicted to was never found in his system. At this point, they can say whatever they want. Who is going to dispute it because they push how close they were as family. That is what makes me so mad. Is this really all that can be talked about at this time? Is this all that you "knew" about your brother? The only reason they keep going back to it is because it supposedly makes them look good in the eyes of the public--they tried so hard but confused Michael wouldn't listen. Ugh!

I think that a lot of these "interventions" were about other things also.

And what in the world is so important that they could not have been at the trial? Sorry but people with far less means endure the devastation of listening to grueling testimony everyday in the court system. But, they do it for the respect and justice of their loved ones. Even if they weren't there, it still amazed me at the posts about this one or that one having so much fun. Really?

When? when were they trying to 'intervene' to help Michael? 'cause thats whats pissing me off about them. We all know MJ acknowledged issues with painkillers back in the 90's....is it that period which they speak of or what? Its clear as day that they were'nt apart of Michael's life for years on end, so what period are we talking about here?

And secondly, why the hell was no one saying jack-ish about any drugs or intervention all these years BEFORE MJ passed? Why the heck did they wait until he was DEAD to have the balls to start yapping now? yeah right, opportunistic bunch! Well, lavish in the spotlight while you can, 'cause guess what, its all coming to an end real soon.

I am just really HOPING that they will disappear sooner rather than later 'cause I am just sick of them and their ish!
 
Jermaine seriously needs to look at his siblings and tell them to stop!
 
He ain't got the got the guts to do it. At least he isn't playing along with them.
 
This family are always at odds with eachother so even if Jermaine sit their asses down I doubt they would really give a ish. Mostly all of them have Twitter they see what Jermaine say and it's obvious they can really give a flying F-. That's what people do when they have their own agenda's and it's really freakin sad! Jermaine can to be a pain in the @$$ too but, atleast he doesn't go against the evidence in the case....atleast not anymore.
