Just watched Tito being interviewed about the trial and the DVD.

In answer to the question of MJ being a drug addict Tito explains about a few accidents Michael had had and said to what extent that drugs were a problem was beyond him.

Michael did not take his own life.

The whole trial is very hard on the family. Mother has chosen to stay in the US despite being scheduled to be in the UK as she wanted to be there for the verdict.

TII was not a step too far for Michael but cannot answer if he was pushed too hard.

'Strange is not a word I would put on my brother'

Unfortunately the interviewer referred to Michael a a proven drug addict and finished her sentence with a random question, sadly Tito didn't pick her up on it, but the way she did it really didn't give him much of an opportuntiy.

Tito also talked about the DVD about how it starts with his parents meeting and covers all aspects of Michael's life.

Tito and some of the OTHER relatives need to prepare themselves before they speak to anybody on television, in my opinion.

When going on these different programs, folks need to find out what the host has said about Michael in the past and be READY to straighten out a few things. You can't deal with these media types by being meek and mild, you have to get in their face with the FACTS. And I'm not talking about being disrespectful, just let the FACTS do the talking for you.

Another thing is, in my opinion, this DVD will mostly focus on the Motown days, because they would need permission from The Estate Of Michael Jackson in order to go into Michael's solo work. No Thriller! No Beat It! No Billie Jean!

The obvious question is, why do they always go to these type of interviewers in the 1st place? Don't they notice the fact that everytime there is clearly no respect for them?

Who interviews Tito, was it Kay Burley?

I have a huge amount of respect for Tito. But I am often disappointed when some of Michael's siblings don't defend Michael as well as they should, either through nerves politeness. I haven't seen this interview, so I don't know how much space Tito was given to talk. But he shouldn't have let the interviewer get away with saying Michael was a proven drug addict. If this interviewer is Kay Burley, she is known as a tactless interviewer, as one politician told her to her face not very bright.

No it wasn't her, it was a blond woman. To be fair, Tito wasn't given much chance, she threw it in and followed it in the same breath by another question.

Tito had literally just come from another interview on channel 5, everything seemed rushed.

Thanks for the information. The women who interviewed Tito should have been honored to meet him, and she should be ashamed of herself for giving such an unfair and false personal opinion of Michael in front of Tito. Not only is he Michael's older brother and a member of the Jackson 5, but he's a truly decent and kind man and deserves to be treated with more respect.

Agreed. The family should be aware of the people that's interviewing them. I like Tito tho.

^^^^ Gosh he was busy today, I didn't see the interview mentioned above.

EXACTLY, EXACTLY, EXACTLY!

And when they are'nt prepared they allow the interviewer to dictate the tone of the interview.

what about do what Janet did in the '90s...? Don't answer MJ questions.

That, in my opinion, is the BEST option. BUT.....

If Tito, Rebbie and the majority of the rest of the Jackson family do not talk about Michael, these televison programs wouldn't be interested in them in the first place. LOL!

They basically have to speak about Michael in order to get any face time and of course MOOLAH!

They need to worship Michael's ass for still providing them money and facetime.
