Hey ya'll I guess so of u know of the beef between Jan and Tina, well Tina's bringing out an album and some songs are really about Jan. I guess she believes Jan is 2faced .. hmm interesting ..

She was a Fly Girl on the old In Living Color show. She used to dance with Janet along with other Fly Girls', Josie Harris & Jennifer Lopez. Josie Harris also danced in Mike's Remember The Time video. Carrie Ann, one of the judges on Dancing With The Stars, was also a Fly Girl and was a dancer on Madonna's Girlie Show tour.

i actually dont know. but i do remember janet was on oprah and she was telling oprah that she had a friend and that her husband or boyfriend was cheating on her. janet knew about it but she felt like it wasn't her place to tell her and well she eventually found out about it .. and that ended their friendship but im not sure if it was about tina though ...

It's old but I never read them. Have a new perspective on them now. I think a lot of rumors and things may have gone on around that time to end their long relationship, but ultimately it boils down to Janet not telling about Tina's cheating husband. Tina must have really blown up and hurt Janet by what she said or did, just a guess though.

That is not two-faced. Sometimes it is best not to get involved in some domestic issues especially cheating. Tina could have easily said Janet was jealous and would still be mad at her. This scenario happens a lot.
 
Tina is two-faced.

Janet being the sweet person she is put differences aside and allowed her to be a part of the VMA tribute last year.

If Tina was 2faced then she wouldn't have agreed to do the VMA performance.

Tina started dancing for Janet since the release of "What have you done for me lately" then all thru Rhythm Nation and then became chorepgrapher for the janet. and The Velvet Rope era's.
Tina and Janet were best friends.
Tina was engaged to Rob (another dancer thru Velvet era) and he was cheating on her.
Janet knew but decided not to tell Tina and then of course Tina found out and it ended their friendship.

At the end of the day it depends on the person..some people would want to be told that their boyfriend is cheating and some don't.
So ur basically taking a risk either way if you keep it a secret and Janet felt it wasn't her place to get involved and still to this day she sticks by her decision.
I can see it from both sides..i understand why Janet didnt tell her but i also understand Tina being upset at Janet for keeping it from her.

They have now obviously cleared the air but have both gone in different directions career wise.
So the rumors that Tina was having an affair with Rene is rubbish lol

First off, the song lyrics above are old as is this "beef". The story is that Janet and Tina were the best of friends. Tina worked for Janet as a dancer and then eventually the lead cheographer. She was the one who cheographed the Scream video.

During the Velvet Rope tour, Tina met and fell in love with another dancer on the tour named Rob. Bascially, they got engaged on the tour in Paris. But Rob was cheating on Tina and somehow Janet knew. She didn't tell Tina because (as Janet told Oprah) she felt it wasn't her "place" to say anything to Tina. Janet went to Rob and tried to talk him into telling her but he wouldn't do it. Janet still didn't say anything even though she and Tina were best of friends.

Tina eventually found out on her own or some other way and was very hurt that Janet never told her. This broke up their friendship but also according to Tina other things took place too.

When MJ died Janet asked Tina to take part in the tribute because she did come up with the dance and maybe b/c death changes things. I mean it was like 1999 that this happened? It was YEARS ago. At some point you have to let things go.

I hope they have made up and even though they may never be as close as they once were at least they are both free of the past.

I don't believe there is any tention between the two of them. If anything, it's hype to help sell a cd that Landon is putting out. After all who knows her as a singer. Not many people know her as a dancer.

Tina always has nice stuff to say about Janet O_O

If this is true I hope they squashed it

Well maybe dance fans will know who she is, but I doubt if she puts out a cd, the averager person is going to run out and buy it because she was a choreographer to the stars. She will need some type of hype to draw people into the stores. People who are none Janet Jackson fans for example. Janet Jackson fans are not going to buy a Tina Landon cd just because she help choreograph dances for Janet Jackson or for any other star. If luck is on her side, maybe she will as lucky as Paula Abdul. Paula's association with the Jacksons is what made her famous and what helped her sell her fist album which was a hit. Abdul's other albums all bombed big time.

I'm sure there is, even more than the "public" knows but that's the story I'm most familiar with. Whatever it is I hope they are at peace with it all. Life is too short to hold grudges.

This was from a while back around 2004 , not sure how her album did but yeah the first one was about Janet and smh Tina use to deny it was about her on her message board but it's obvious is espiecally after it came out.
