I like both very much, but ghosts is my personal favorite right now.
I like the new jack swingy vibe its got going on

I think ‘thriller’ is better written (both melodically and lyrically).

has better clearer vocals that creep, strike and soar.

it’s better structured and has more suspense and dynamic range to keep the listener engaged.

the groove and overall production is timeless and has aged so much better.

the concept was more fresh and original at the time. the following scary songs were unnecessary.

‘thriller’ has a sense of humour and doesn’t take itself too seriously. this makes it a more joyful experience, despite it exploring a dark theme. it walks that perfect line.

‘thriller’ is more memorable in every way.
