Since one week in the United Kingdom, a CD exclusively for DJs serves the promotion of best-of "King of Pop".

It contains both versions of "Thriller Megamix" produced by Jason Nevins:

  • Extended Mix - duration: (9:15)
  • Radio Edit - duration: (4:07)

Here is the order in which follow the tracks of the album "Thriller" in this megamix:
- Billie Jean
- Thriller
-Wanna be startin' somethin'
- PYT
- Beat It

On the extended mix, each song lasts nearly 2 minutes and megamix concludes with the inevitable laugh of Vincent Price.

Thanks for the info. I know there is a Thriller Megamix which was released on teh DJ Remix label DMC, it contains the same tracks, but it's 9:35 and was NOT mixed by Jason Nevins, but I hope the Jason Nevins Megamix is better than that DMC megamix.

IMO the best megamix is still the "MJ Megaremix" (10:33), e.g. released on the European "Earth Song" single.

True .......

I also like te MJ URBAN MEGAMIX produced by Tony Moran (1995).
Slick cause it contains original versions of the tracks, and the mix is so smooth.
I'm not convinced by the snippets of the new one.

I have some additional detail about this directly from Jason Nevins if anyone is interested. The megamix was produced about 3 months ago, and he did not make any full mixes. Just the parts that are in the megamix.

I love this megamix! :woohoo: & thanks for the details. :)

I love the megamix. Thriller's intro was awesome and really stood out to me for some reason o_O
