sorry if this is in the wrong place, wasn't sure where to put this one.
So on Saturday and Sunday, we danced to Scream, Smooth Criminal, Dangerous, Remember The Time, and then Thriller (for some events). the dances have been tweaked, but for sure we kept most of Michael's dances true. e.g. scream has stuff the instructor made up on her own plus the real dance moves in the short film since scream doesn't have a long dance.
Saturday was the unveiling of the MJ mural @Pico Union. the Graff Lab
unfortunately I don't have video of it on youtube...it's on someone's facebook though...
somewhere!
I do have a pic of the mural
thriller--TTWLA taught some of the kids who lived around the community and taught them our version of Thriller. The videos are from one of the dancers..I'm just supplying them for you guys. (no sound unfortunately for this one)

I'm the one in green hair..
That event was somethin special b/c it was a community thing, it felt nice to entertain people and make people smile through Michael Jackson. You saw us dance, you heard Michael's music, kids were dancin to Michael. It was so nice to see them inspired.

mind you...we were given roughly a month to learn and practice these dances. it was pretty hard
I know I wasn't very good at it...as you can see, but boy when it can to Sunday, we looked really nice as a group.
