No, I don't think he is. Al Malnik and his family have been really close to Michael and his children (the Malniks also have three kids). His wife Nancy posted those photos of Michael's children playing and having fun on that Facebook group she has.

it's interesting, that comment. he's not too much older than I am... but I've always thought of him as older... fatherly. my feelings toward him are very filial in a way... like a brother, like a father... I think of him as family. we all do, I guess. that's probably why this has been so hard to take. :(
 
um that is until they ahd a falling out. they were not friends at the time of mj's passing. notice, allthe pics were when blanket was a yr old.
